Graduate School Admission

Admission for graduate study at IU is either granted by the school in which you plan to study or jointly by the University Graduate School and the department, program, or school in which you plan to study. You will apply for admission to a particular program of study. It is important to read and understand your desired program’s admission procedures, requirements, and deadlines.

If you are a U.S. citizen or permanent resident who completed academic work outside the United States and would like to apply to a graduate program, download the Supplemental Application for Admission (PDF) and submit it to the Office of International Admissions for a review of your credentials.
