IU Scholarships

Students applying for fall 2010... While November 1 is the freshman priority date, you may still apply for admission and be considered for merit scholarships at this time.

IU awards millions of dollars per year in scholarships to hard-working and talented students, from Automatic Academic Scholarships to the prestigious Wells Scholarship. Just by applying to IU, incoming freshmen are automatically considered for a variety of merit scholarships. Other scholarships require applications and may consider factors in addition to academic merit. Future freshmen should apply for admission to IU by the November 1 priority date for maximum consideration for merit scholarships.

International Scholarships

Indiana University is one of a few U.S. public universities that offers merit-based awards to international freshmen. Visit the Office of Scholarships, and learn more about financial aid for international students.

Transfer Scholarship

Indiana University awards the Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Scholarship each year to academically talented students transferring to IU.
